The only options available in cosmetic dentistry are porcelain crowns and veneers.  

False!  The total scope of cosmetic dentistry options available in our dental clinic to address cosmetic dentistry issues is very wide, including:

- dental whitening;

- orthodontics;

- enameloplasty (conservative shaving down of biting edges of the front teeth);

- composite resin bonding; AND

- porcelain crowns and veneers

In order to get cosmetic dentistry work done to my teeth, the dentist must drill off healthy enamel.

‍This varies from patient to patient, but our clinic always tries to find the most conservative and preventive cosmetic dentistry treatment plan option to meet the patient’s cosmetic dentistry needs.  For example, there is no drilling involved with dental whitening - in fact dental whitening allows teeth to become more cavity-resistant!

Cosmetic Dentistry is very expensive.
