In September 2019, Dr. Lee traveled to Peru to support dental missionary Dr. Erin Connolly and her family with their mobile dental mission project that serves over twenty Quechua aboriginal communities located throughout the Peruvian Andes mountains. Providing dental treatment to orphanage children and elderly patients in a Quechua village situated at 11,000 feet above sea level, Dr. Lee and his mission dental team performed dental extractions, fillings and preventive care to many patients that would have otherwise not been able to receive the emergency dental treatment that they required. Upon his return to Canada from Peru, Dr. Lee was pleased to announce monthly financial sponsorship for Dr. Connolly’s family and partnership with her dental mission project in Peru. He is planning a return trip to Dr. Connolly’s dental mission in 2020.
